Willing Able Mentoring (WAM) Programme:
Willing Able Mentoring (WAM) is a work placement programme for graduates with disabilities. It aims to connect graduates with disabilities with the labour market and help employer’s improve their ability to integrate disability into the workplace.
What does it involve?
Employers offer mentored, paid work placements for graduates with disabilities. A placement is a minimum 6 month, paid. Placements can be in the private or public sector. They are mainstream graduate entry level positions. Graduates must compete for roles that are available, as they would when applying for any job.
