Ruth Murphy –   Disability Support Officer (Acting) MTU DSS Cork campus

___________________________________________________________________________

The MTU Disability Support Service (DSS) Cork campus welcomes any student with a learning difference, disability or health condition to apply for supports / reasonable accommodations that they may need for their studies. We can guide and support you to access your courses and we work hard to ensure that the DSS is a place that you can go to in confidence to look for support and help.

The DSS is supported by the Fund for Students with Disabilities which is managed by the Higher Education Authority on behalf of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.

Our aim is to encourage the participation and access of students with learning differences, disabilities and health conditions into third level education. We can guide and support you to access your course, achieve your academic goals and become a more independent learner.

CONTACTING THE DSS

Email is the quickest way of receiving a response from DSS staff as we may be busy meeting students when you call.

Make sure to include your name, MTU/CIT student number or CAO number and date of birth in any emails.

See our Contact details page for more information.
